Amigo eSIM

About

Andrew Noble is a telecom industry veteran, Marketing Director at Amigo eSIM, and travel-tech writer with more than 30 years of experience in global telecommunications. During his 12 years at BT Group (British Telecom), he held a series of senior leadership roles, including Head of Mobile Alliance with AT&T Wireless, Head of Prepaid Card Services, Head of Affinity Marketing, Marketing Manager for Premierline, and Head of the Direct Telesales Channel. Across these positions, he worked on major international partnerships, prepaid products, distribution channels, and large-scale customer acquisition programs.

He later led the end-to-end process of building Amigo eSIM as a product from scratch—establishing supplier relationships, negotiating network agreements, defining the product offering, pricing structure, and distribution approach.

After decades inside the industry, Andrew now translates complex connectivity topics into practical, step-by-step advice for real trips. Having visited more than 50 countries, he combines deep technical expertise with firsthand travel experience, helping readers stay connected wherever they go. He’s passionate about making the most of every destination—discovering local experiences while relying on fast, reliable, and affordable eSIM data.

At Amigo eSIM, Andrew covers international eSIM plans, destination coverage, iOS and Android setup, multi-eSIM management, device compatibility, and proven ways to avoid roaming charges without sacrificing speed or reliability. When he’s not testing prepaid eSIMs or comparing 4G/5G performance across regions, he’s mapping itineraries, exploring hidden-gem neighborhoods, and evaluating real-world connectivity on the ground.

Read Andrew for clear, no-nonsense guidance on global connectivity—so you can focus on the journey, not the signal.
