MobiMatter, FlexiRoam or Amigo eSIM: Which One Fits Your Trip?

MobiMatter, FlexiRoam and Amigo eSIM differ on four checks: trip length, edge markets, refund terms and price per GB in the UK. MobiMatter and Amigo eSIM listed 30-day fixed-data Europe packages, while FlexiRoam's fixed Europe plans ended at 15 days. MobiMatter's Europe list varied by offer, FlexiRoam's included the UK, Switzerland and Turkey, and Amigo eSIM's left out Turkey. In the UK, MobiMatter listed the lowest price per GB, €0.0235 for a 999 GB package, ahead of Amigo eSIM's €0.115 for 200 GB; FlexiRoam's lowest was USD 0.716 for 50 GB.

Refunds differ too: after installation MobiMatter's need a fault left unresolved for over 24 hours and FlexiRoam's carry a 5% fee, while Amigo eSIM's are only considered within 30 days of purchase.

Amigo eSIM is one of the three services compared here and also publishes this comparison. The 14 criteria were fixed before any provider's data was collected. Every figure comes from each provider's own pages, help center and app-store listings, plus its Trustpilot profile; the full methodology, including the date the data was collected, sits at the end of this article.

MobiMatter vs FlexiRoam vs Amigo eSIM at a Glance

MobiMatter's United Kingdom, France and Europe listings hold offers from 7 plan providers, so a MobiMatter cell shows a count and a range where FlexiRoam and Amigo eSIM show one price list. All values are for the United Kingdom, for France and for each option's Europe plan.

Five terms are used in the table:

  • Entry package: the lowest-priced one-off package with a fixed data pool; unlimited, free or trial plans are excluded.
  • 10 GB / 30-day package: a fixed data pool of exactly 10 GB, valid exactly 30 days. Where an option has none, the cell says so and, if the same list has one, names the closest fixed-pool package, marked as not the same; price per GB appears only for exact matches.
  • Europe plan: an option's own regional plan with its own country list; at MobiMatter, the Europe listing, whose offers carry different lists. Edge markets are the UK, Switzerland and Turkey, plus the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia).
  • Unlimited: a plan sold as unlimited; the table gives its published limit or speed cap.
  • Lowest price per GB: for the UK, the lowest price divided by the data pool among an option's one-off packages with a fixed pool and 30 days of validity, unlimited plans excluded; at MobiMatter, across the whole listing.

Prices are shown in each site's currency, and USD and EUR figures are not converted or compared. MobiMatter lets buyers choose EUR in its currency selector, and its Terms say the displayed price and currency are the ones charged.

FlexiRoam shows USD, and its Terms say charges are billed in USD or a currency selected on the website or app, taxes included, with any extra bank transaction charges left to the buyer. Amigo eSIM shows EUR, and its Terms say prices include VAT and are "charged in GBP, EUR, or USD".

MobiMatter

MobiMatter describes itself as an eSIM marketplace, so every MobiMatter figure belongs to a specific offer from a specific plan provider. Its United Kingdom listing held 83 offers from 7 plan providers, its France listing also 83 offers from 7, and its Europe listing 63 offers, also from 7.

MobiMatter: pricing and data plans

MobiMatter's United Kingdom listing held 8 offers of exactly 10 GB and 30 days, from 4 providers and priced from €10.00 to €66.00; its France listing held 8 as well, from €8.00 to €65.00.

Listing Offers Providers Lowest price Highest price
United Kingdom 8 Airalo, Sparks, Ubigi, eSIMGo Sparks Europe Special 10 GB: €10.00 (€1.00 per GB) Ubigi World 10 GB: €66.00 (€6.60 per GB)
France 8 Airalo, Sparks, Ubigi, eSIMGo eSIMGo France 10 GB: €8.00 (€0.80 per GB) Ubigi World 10 GB: €65.00 (€6.50 per GB)
Europe 6 Airalo, Sparks, Ubigi Sparks Europe Special 10 GB: €10.00 (€1.00 per GB) Ubigi World 10 GB: €65.00 (€6.50 per GB)
  • Footprint: in the United Kingdom listing, the lowest-priced 10 GB offer covers 35 countries, and the only one that covers just the United Kingdom is eSIMGo UK 10 GB 200 Minutes at €12.50 (€1.25 per GB); in the France listing, the lowest-priced 10 GB offer covers only France, while the highest covers 185 countries, so offers differ in coverage as well as price.
  • UK-only offers: 7 of the 83 offers cover only the United Kingdom, all from eSIMGo, from 1 GB for 7 days at €4.50 up to 50 GB for 30 days at €21.00 and a 999 GB package for 30 days at €23.50 marked "SPECIAL OFFER"; 5 Sparks offers cover the UK and Ireland.
  • Price per GB: among the 53 fixed-pool offers valid 30 days in the United Kingdom listing, the lowest is that eSIMGo 999 GB package at €0.0235 per GB; the next are Bouygues EU 120 GB at €0.3917 and eSIMGo UK 50 GB at €0.42.
  • Unlimited: in the France listing, 3 plans (eSIMGo Europe Premium Unlimited, 5 to 15 days) give full speed up to a total of 30, 60 or 90 GB, then slow to 2 Mbps, and exclude the UK and offer no top-up. In the United Kingdom listing, 4 Airalo EUconnect Unlimited plans (3, 5, 7 or 10 days, €7.50 to €19.00) give 3 GB a day at 20 Mbps, then 1 Mbps, with no top-up.

MobiMatter: coverage and network

MobiMatter's Europe listing holds separate offers rather than one plan, and each offer carries its own country list, as these offers show.

Europe-listing offer (10 GB / 30 days) Countries UK Switzerland Turkey Western Balkans
Sparks Europe Special 10 GB 35 yes yes yes none
Airalo EUconnect 10 GB 28 yes no no none
Sparks Balkans Special 10 GB 40 yes yes yes 5 of 6
Wider offers (3): Sparks Europe Asia and USA, Ubigi Best World, Ubigi World 81, 174, 185 yes yes yes Sparks 5 of 6 (not Kosovo); both Ubigi plans 6 of 6
  • Families: the France listing holds 6 France-only offers; the Europe listing holds five region-specific families of 28 to 36 countries, alongside multi-region and global plans.
  • Variation: in the France listing, 60 of 83 offers include the UK, 52 Switzerland and 57 Turkey.
  • Networks: in the France listing, every offer names its plan provider and its French networks before purchase; 45 of the 83 show 5G/4G/LTE and 38 show 4G/LTE, 80 show unrestricted speed, and 55 route traffic via the UK or UK / Ireland.
  • UK networks: in the United Kingdom listing, every offer names its UK networks before purchase: EE on 59 of the 83 offers, Vodafone on 56, O2 (UK) on 49 and 3 on 38; 79 show unrestricted speed, and the 4 Airalo Unlimited plans slow to 1 Mbps after 3 GB a day.
  • Responsibility: MOBIMATTER LTD maintains the site and app, and its refund policy says it follows the policies of the operator whose product was sold and will attempt to mediate between buyer and provider.

MobiMatter: voice, texts and hotspot

Of the 83 offers in MobiMatter's France listing, 81 were data-only, including all 8 offers of 10 GB and 30 days. The other 2, both from Bouygues, include a French (+33) number with unlimited calls and SMS within the EU:

  • Bouygues EU 60 GB Unlimited Calls: €38.00, 30 days
  • Bouygues EU 120 GB Unlimited Calls: €46.50, 30 days

In the United Kingdom listing, 74 of the 83 pages stated "This is a data-only eSIM", including 7 of the 8 offers of 10 GB and 30 days. The same two Bouygues offers appeared there at €38.50 and €47.00, and 6 eSIMGo offers added a UK (+44) number with minutes for domestic calls to UK numbers only, with no SMS:

  • eSIMGo UK 1 GB 20 Minutes: €4.50, 7 days
  • eSIMGo UK 2 GB 40 Minutes: €6.00, 14 days
  • eSIMGo UK 5 GB 100 Minutes: €8.50, 30 days
  • eSIMGo UK 10 GB 200 Minutes: €12.50, 30 days
  • eSIMGo UK 20 GB 300 Minutes: €17.00, 30 days
  • eSIMGo UK 50 GB 450 Minutes: €21.00, 30 days

Hotspot reads "Available" on every offer page in the three listings, and the Help Center says the eSIMs support hotspot.

MobiMatter: activation, top-up and refunds

After installation, MobiMatter's refund policy pays out only for a malfunction left unresolved for more than 24 hours after the customer submits the details through the troubleshooting tool.

Topic MobiMatter
Purchase and install Website and app; QR code with the order; install by scan, in the app or by manual code (Help Center); no page states whether an account is required to buy; Airalo EUconnect offers need manual APN setup on Android
Start Validity starts on first data use (74 of 83 France-listing offers), on installation (7) or on connection to a network (2); 2 months to activate after purchase
Top-up A new package with its own validity from the same operator (how MobiMatter's top-ups work)
Refund after installation Malfunction unresolved for more than 24 hours; paid to the original payment method within 10 to 45 days
Not refundable Five cases: failure to seek assistance; customer-induced damage, such as deleting the eSIM or a factory reset; a wrong purchase; partially used products and services; dissatisfaction with the service performance of the network

For an eSIM that is not yet installed, MobiMatter's documents give three answers:

Source Unused eSIM
Refund policy, summary Possible "only if the eSIM has not been downloaded / activated", with fees under the operator's policy
Refund policy, cancellations and returns section Digital products "are not eligible for cancellations or returns"; the company "may at its own discretion decide to partially or fully refund"
Help Center, "Can I get a refund?" "A refund may be available" if the eSIM has not been used or activated and is within the activation period; processing fees may apply

For an unused MobiMatter eSIM, plan as if a cancellation is at the company's discretion.

MobiMatter: support, ratings and limitations

  • Support: a troubleshooting wizard and tickets, plus support@mobimatter.com; the Help Center says the 24/7 support team is always available through the online troubleshooting tool; mobimatter.com publishes no support phone number.
  • Rating: Trustpilot showed 4.3 out of 5 from 56,010 reviews.
  • Devices: every France-listing offer page required an eSIM-compatible phone or tablet that is not carrier-locked.
  • Use: for its unlimited packages, the Terms say unlimited data is "provided for personal mobile use".

At MobiMatter, the offer, not the marketplace, sets coverage, and the cases its refund policy excludes include a "wrong purchase", such as a customer in a non-covered country.

FlexiRoam

FlexiRoam sells its own plans through its website and app, with one price list in USD. Its United Kingdom page and its France page each listed 12 fixed and 6 unlimited plans, and its Europe Regional Data Plans page 4 fixed and 6 unlimited plans for a 39-country list.

FlexiRoam: pricing and data plans

FlexiRoam's United Kingdom page listed a 10 GB plan valid 30 days at USD 15.2, marked "30% OFF" against a struck-through USD 21.71 and labelled "USD 1.52/GB"; its France page listed the same plan at USD 12.8, marked "30% OFF" against a struck-through USD 18.29 and labelled "USD 1.28/GB", while its Europe Regional Data Plans page listed no 10 GB, 30-day package.

Plan, UK page Validity Price
Fixed 1 GB 3 days USD 3.2
Fixed 10 GB 30 days USD 15.2
Fixed 20 GB 30 days USD 24.8
Fixed 50 GB 30 days USD 35.8
Unlimited, 6 plans 5 to 30 days USD 33.5 to USD 120

On the UK page the 50 GB, 30-day plan worked out to USD 0.716 per GB (35.8 / 50), the lowest of its four 30-day fixed plans.

Plan, Europe Regional page Validity Price
Fixed 10 GB 3 days USD 13.5
Fixed 20 GB 5 days USD 26.5
Fixed 50 GB 10 days USD 52
Fixed 100 GB 15 days USD 87.99
Unlimited, 6 plans 5 to 30 days USD 30.5 to USD 102.5

FlexiRoam's France page lists 6 Unlimited plans at the same prices, and both pages state a speed cap after a 3 GB daily fair usage limit.

FlexiRoam: coverage and network

FlexiRoam's list of Europe plan countries had 39 entries, among them the UK, Switzerland and Turkey, but not Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia or Kosovo.

List Countries UK Switzerland Turkey Western Balkans
Europe Regional Data Plans 39 yes yes yes 3 of 6 (Albania, Montenegro, Serbia)
  • UK networks: neither the UK page, the Help Center nor the Terms names a UK operator; the Help Center says data speed varies between 3G, 4G and 5G by country and location, and no figure is given for the speed after the daily limit on unlimited plans.
  • Networks: the plan pages say the eSIM auto-connects to the strongest available network, with a manual carrier switch; the Terms cover GSM, HSDPA, 4G LTE and 5G through overseas roaming partners without guaranteeing speeds, and the Help Center says the app lists local networks once a plan is activated.
  • Responsibility: FlexiRoam Asia Limited is the contracting party unless the point of sale says otherwise, the Terms say services are supplied directly or through a distribution partner, and the Refund Policy sends refund requests to FlexiRoam's own Customer Experience Team.

FlexiRoam: voice, texts and hotspot

FlexiRoam's eSIM has no phone number, and its Help Center says SMS is not supported: calls and texts can go through VoIP apps such as WhatsApp and Viber. In-app voice calls ended on 1 January 2026, the Terms say.

On hotspot, the Help Center says the eSIM supports tethering, while the Terms (clause 21.3) allow sharing a plan between users only through the in-app Shared Data feature.

FlexiRoam: activation, top-up and refunds

FlexiRoam's Refund Policy lists four refund scenarios, deducts a 5% fee from every refund and requires the request within 120 days of purchase and during the trip.

Topic FlexiRoam
Purchase Website or app; sign-up or login required to complete a purchase; a logged-out visitor sees only a login form in the cart, with no price summary
Install QR code sent by email for a Starter Pack order (Help Center); one eSIM per account serves its Global, Local and Regional plans; manual APN setup on Android
Start Validity begins on activation or on the scheduled date; Flexi Start allows immediate activation or a scheduled start, within 90 days of purchase
Top-up Help Center: a top-up is a new plan, and extension with rollover is limited to Global Data Plans; the Terms say unused data is lost at expiry unless rolled over

FlexiRoam's refund scenarios and fee are set by its Refund Policy, updated 1 September 2026:

Rule What the policy says
Scenarios Four: a connectivity fault caused by FlexiRoam and unresolved during the plan's validity, a compromised account with verified unauthorized charges, an intermittent connection that significantly affects service, downtime or planned maintenance
Amount Full refund if no data usage was recorded; partial, based on remaining balance and usage, if it was
Window Request within 120 days of purchase; issues must be reported during the trip
Fee 5% administrative fee deducted from every refund
Not refundable An expired plan with a balance and no issue reported; an incompatible or carrier-locked device; a plan bought unintentionally, then installed or activated; abusive or fraudulent actions
Cancellation The Help Center says activated plans can no longer be cancelled

The policy and the Terms disagree on the form a refund takes:

Source Form of refund
Refund Policy Wallet Credit in most cases; the original payment method within 7 to 15 working days only if the issue came from FlexiRoam and stayed unresolved during the trip, or in proven fraud or hacking
Terms of Use, clause 24.6 "Effective 1 May 2026, Wallet Credit is no longer supported or available."

Both documents carry the same update date, and the Terms say Wallet Credit has not been available since 1 May 2026, so a refund in Wallet Credit cannot be assumed.

FlexiRoam: support, ratings and limitations

  • Support: the Help Center home page lists a messaging contact plus Facebook and WhatsApp contacts, the Refund Policy gives support@flexiroam.com, and the homepage listed "24/7 Support".
  • Rating: Trustpilot showed 4.7 out of 5 from 2,841 reviews.
  • Devices: the Help Center says the device must be carrier-unlocked and eSIM-compatible; its list, "as of July 2026", includes iPad, Galaxy Tab S and Surface Pro 5G models.
  • Use: the Terms (clause 21.3) describe the services as "for individual use only (personal or business communications)".

On FlexiRoam's Europe plan, no fixed package runs longer than 15 days; the smallest fixed plan of 10 GB or more and 30 days or more that covers all 39 Europe countries is the Global 20 GB, 180-day plan at USD 89.9, which is not an equivalent package.

Amigo eSIM

We provide eSIM profiles and mobile data services through our website and app. The packages below are those on our United Kingdom, France, Europe and World pages; the fuller comparison is in our five-way comparison of Airalo, Holafly, Saily, Nomad and Amigo eSIM.

Amigo eSIM: pricing and data plans

Our UK, France and Europe lists had no 10 GB, 30-day package: the closest was a different package, 40 GB for 30 days (€11) in the UK and 12 GB for 30 days (€18) in France and Europe, and the exact package was on our World plan (€31, or €3.10 per GB). In the UK we also listed larger packages on O2 and Three, up to 250 GB for 30 days at €34, and the 200 GB package at €23 worked out to €0.115 per GB.

Neither the France list nor the Europe list includes an unlimited package; the UK list has UnlimitedGB, 30 days, at €39.

Amigo eSIM: coverage and network

Our Europe plan includes the UK; its list had 44 entries, among them France and Switzerland, and Turkey and the Western Balkans markets are not on it.

List Entries UK Switzerland Turkey Western Balkans
Europe plan 44 yes yes no none of 6

On our UK page, the O2 packages (125, 200 and 250 GB) showed coverage "United Kingdom + Europe" in the Details window, with the note that the plan must be activated in the UK first and no country list for the Europe part; the Three packages and the 1 GB package showed the UK only.

  • Networks: in France, our 1 GB package runs on Orange F and Free, and our 6 to 30 GB packages on Three and its roaming partners, with speed stated as "Up to 5G - Will vary by location"; in the UK, our 1 GB package runs on Vodafone and Everything Everywhere, our 125 to 250 GB packages on O2 and its roaming partners at 5G, and our Three packages (40 GB and up) on Three and its roaming partners, up to 5G.
  • Responsibility: Amigo is a business name of Core Communication Retail Limited, and our Complaints page says we take responsibility for the services delivered.

Amigo eSIM: voice, texts and hotspot

Our UK plans from 40 GB and our France and Europe plans from 6 to 30 GB were labelled "Data, Minutes and Texts", while our Terms and FAQ read differently:

Source What it says
Plan label and Details window "Data, Minutes and Texts". UK: unlimited UK minutes and texts on the O2 plans, with 50 international minutes to 42 countries on the 125 and 200 GB plans and 250 on the 250 GB plan; "Calls: Unlimited" and "Texts: Unlimited" on the Three plans. France and Europe, 6 to 30 GB: "Calls: Unlimited" and "Texts: Unlimited"
Terms & Conditions "Your Services do not allow you to make calls or access emergency services. Subject to partner networks' terms."
FAQ "Please remember that your Amigo eSim provides data connectivity only."

The 1 GB plans are labelled "Data Only", and our FAQ answer on data-only plans says calls and messages can go through apps such as WhatsApp and FaceTime. The UK, France and Europe pages note that O2, Three and EE plans come with a UK (+44) number, though our Terms give no right to a number and link the terms of O2, Three and EE.

Hotspot shows as "Unlimited" without a figure, and our Terms say tethering may be restricted by the Fair Use Policy.

Amigo eSIM: activation, top-up and refunds

Our Terms & Conditions say refunds are only considered within 30 days of purchase and require a valid reason.

  • Rating: our Trustpilot profile showed 4.4 out of 5 from 84 reviews.
  • Devices: our Terms require an eSIM-compatible, network-unlocked device that meets required UK technical standards.

Our Europe plan's list had no Turkey and none of the Western Balkans markets; our World plan, a different plan, lists Turkey, with a 10 GB, 30-day package at €31.

MobiMatter, FlexiRoam and Amigo eSIM by Situation: Who Should Buy Which

Find the row that looks like your trip, take the option it names, and read the last column before you pay; where two options fit, both are named.

If you… First pick Why Check before you buy
book far ahead and want the eSIM sorted now FlexiRoam Flexi Start lets a plan be scheduled for a future date, within 90 days of purchase; MobiMatter's France-listing pages give 2 months to activate an eSIM after purchase; Amigo eSIM's plans start on installation and connection at the destination, and its Terms consider refunds only within 30 days of purchase A plan neither activated nor scheduled within 90 days activates by itself, with no refund
stay 30 days across several EU countries on a set amount of data No single pick: MobiMatter, if an offer's list covers the route, or Amigo eSIM, if the whole route is on its list MobiMatter's Europe listing held 6 offers of 10 GB and 30 days, 5 of them covering the UK, Switzerland and Turkey; Amigo eSIM has 30-day packages on a 44-entry Europe list; FlexiRoam's fixed Europe plans stop at 15 days, and its 30-day plan is Unlimited (USD 102.5) MobiMatter: €10.00 to €65.00 for the same 10 GB, 30 days. Amigo eSIM: no 10 GB, 30-day package, closest 12 GB at €18
have up to 15 days in Europe with the UK, Switzerland or Turkey on the route FlexiRoam, or MobiMatter if an offer's list covers the route FlexiRoam's Europe list includes all three, and its fixed Europe plans run 3 to 15 days; MobiMatter's Sparks Balkans Special 10 GB lists all three plus 5 of the 6 Western Balkans markets; Amigo eSIM's Europe list includes the UK and Switzerland but not Turkey FlexiRoam: Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Kosovo are not on the list. MobiMatter: Sparks Balkans Special does not list Kosovo
need a French or a UK number for calls and SMS MobiMatter for a French number; Amigo eSIM or MobiMatter for a UK number Two Bouygues offers include a French (+33) number with calls and SMS. For the UK, 6 eSIMGo offers on MobiMatter include a +44 number and 20 to 450 minutes for calls to UK numbers, without SMS; Amigo eSIM's UK packages from 40 GB list a UK (+44) number with unlimited UK minutes and texts on the O2 plans and unlimited calls and texts on the Three plans, while its Terms say its services do not allow calls, subject to partner networks' terms; FlexiRoam's eSIM has no number Neither Bouygues offer can be topped up; the eSIMGo minutes cover UK numbers only; Amigo eSIM's 1 GB UK package has no number, and the operator's terms (O2 or Three) apply to calls
want to see the plan provider and the French or UK networks before you pay MobiMatter Each offer names its plan provider, and all 83 France-listing pages and all 83 UK-listing pages name the networks; FlexiRoam's app lists networks after activation (Help Center) and its UK page names none; Amigo eSIM's France page names Orange F and Free (1 GB plan) or Three and its roaming partners (6 to 30 GB), and its UK page Vodafone and Everything Everywhere (1 GB), O2 (125 to 250 GB) or Three (40 GB and up) The eSIMGo, Sparks and Airalo product pages warn that the operator can change networks without notice
would rather not count gigabytes for a month in France or the UK FlexiRoam in France; MobiMatter, then Amigo eSIM, in the UK FlexiRoam's France page listed a 30-day Unlimited plan at USD 102.5; MobiMatter's unlimited plans run 5 to 15 days and slow to 2 Mbps after 30, 60 or 90 GB, and its largest France-only package is 100 GB for 30 days at €46.50; Amigo eSIM's France list has no unlimited package. In the UK, MobiMatter lists a 999 GB, 30-day package at €23.50 ("Full data speeds - no daily limits, no throttling"), Amigo eSIM's UnlimitedGB, 30 days, costs €39 with no cap published, and FlexiRoam's 30-day Unlimited plan costs USD 120 A speed cap applies after a 3 GB daily fair usage limit at FlexiRoam; the MobiMatter 999 GB package carries a "SPECIAL OFFER" label without an end date, and Amigo eSIM's Fair Use Policy allows throttling at specific times and places
start your trip in the UK and carry on into Europe on one eSIM MobiMatter up to about 10 GB; Amigo eSIM's O2 packages above that MobiMatter's Europe listing held 6 offers of 10 GB and 30 days, all 6 covering the UK, from €10.00 (Sparks Europe Special, 35 countries); Amigo eSIM's O2 UK packages show "United Kingdom + Europe": 125 GB for 30 days costs €17, 200 GB €23 and 250 GB €34, with a UK number; FlexiRoam's Europe plan includes the UK, but its fixed Europe plans run 3 to 15 days, 10 GB for 3 days at USD 13.5 Amigo eSIM's O2 packages must be activated in the UK first, start at 125 GB and show no country list for the Europe part; MobiMatter's offers carry different lists, and Sparks Europe Special lists no Western Balkans market; FlexiRoam's fixed Europe plans stop at 15 days

How We Compared MobiMatter, FlexiRoam and Amigo eSIM

The comparison rests on one reader goal: checking, before paying, how many days a plan covers, whether its country list reaches the edge markets of a France or Europe trip, and what happens to the money if the eSIM fails. The 14 criteria were fixed before any provider's data was collected, from the axes that recur in comparisons and reviews of MobiMatter and FlexiRoam and from travelers' questions. In the order of the summary table:

Full methodology, criteria and how conflicting data was resolved: show / hide

  1. Entry package: the lowest-priced one-off package with a fixed data pool.
  2. 10 GB / 30-day package: whether it exists, its price and price per GB; at MobiMatter, the offer count and price range.
  3. Plan sizes, validity and unlimited: the sizes and days sold; any unlimited plan and its published limit; when validity starts.
  4. Coverage: the United Kingdom and France plans and the Europe plan's country list, checked for the UK, Switzerland and Turkey, plus the Western Balkans.
  5. Networks: French and UK operator names, declared technology, speed limits, IP routing.
  6. Model: who sells, who delivers, the contracting party, who handles support and refunds.
  7. Calls, texts and phone number.
  8. Hotspot and tethering.
  9. Buying, installing and the app: channels, account requirement, delivery, app features.
  10. Top-up.
  11. Refunds and cancellation: eligibility, window, fees, form of refund, who decides.
  12. Support channels.
  13. Third-party ratings: Trustpilot score, review count, reading date.
  14. Device requirements.

The reference points are the United Kingdom, France and each option's own Europe plan, with prices as each site displays them, without conversions or promo codes. France was fixed as the reference country before any provider's data was collected; the United Kingdom was added alongside it, with the same definitions and the complete package list of each option, so no comparison rests on one country that happens to favor one option. One asymmetry is worth naming: the United Kingdom is the home market of Amigo eSIM's operator. The lowest price per GB on 30-day fixed-pool packages in the United Kingdom was added together with the country and calculated the same way for each option. Where an option has no exact 10 GB / 30-day package, the closest one on the same list is named, marked as not the same: the smallest fixed-pool package that meets both minimums, if any.

Every figure comes from each option's own plan pages, Terms, help center, FAQ, app-store listings and Trustpilot profile, read on 24 September 2026; the United Kingdom listings and package pages, and Amigo eSIM's Terms, package pages with their Details windows and Europe list, were read on 6 October 2026. Statements of absence, such as "no page states" or "not listed", cover only the pages read, not other sources.

Outside the comparison: speed and coverage in the field; cart and checkout totals; payment methods; content that exists only inside the apps; a further reference country; the price lists of the plan providers behind MobiMatter's offers; and total destination counts, which the providers state in different ways.

Where a page gave different values, the more cautious value is used, and the cases that change a purchase decision appear in the option sections.
